Air Travel and the SmartVest System

The SmartVest System includes a wheeled carrier that provides easy portability. The unit is classified as carry-on luggage and will fit into the overhead bin of most aircrafts. It must not be checked in as regular luggage.

Many airlines allow you to add medical devices to the carry-ons that are normally allowed (please check with your airline first). You may find it helpful to carry a copy of your prescription while traveling.

The SmartVest System is designed to be used with international voltages. The patient should use a grounded plug adapter rated for at least 10 amps. Do NOT use a voltage converter/transformer.
