Operating Your SmartVest Generator
The SmartVest SQL Air Pulse Generator features a memory function that saves your individual treatment protocols.
This allows most young children to use the device with minimal parental oversight, and requires less supervision to complete each treatment correctly.
Electromed has also designed the generator so that you can operate it in a horizontal position or in an upright position. Both orientations allow you the same view of the display.
At the center of the generator is the control panel. The panel consists of selection buttons and a display screen. All treatment sessions begin at the home display.
From home, you can select an operating mode: manual, ramp, info, or programs one through three.
The buttons running along the length of the display are the start/pause button, set button, and return to home button:
- The start/pause button is a dual-function button that starts the generator when it is not pulsing and pauses or stops the device when it is pulsing.
- The set button is used to save the treatment protocols.
- The home button is used to return to the home screen.
